Everything. This 'anime' feels like it was produced by AI. Like you took the original Trigun ran it through some stupid AI and this is what came out.

Voice acting is bad. Looked at just Meryl on MAL. 4 - 6 works including this. First main. She just isn't good. Neither are the rest, Though not as notable as her(I did barely pay attention while watching). She was probably very cheap to get :) maybe even a little sukiyaki on the side for someone.

Animation or lack there of, If you can't see how this looks bad ( Aside from backrounds? The backrounds I think are okay.) Then I can't help you.

Sure I like .22 and I often think about how deadly it could be due to accuracy. Still, just doesn't fit would have been better to just not mention any caliber. Also increasing the amount of bullets his gun holds due to them being so much smaller than the OG bullet.

Simply put there is no aesthetic rule to which anime are beholden to. It's simply very common for a bulk of series (but not all of them) to employ similar motifs, design and animation approaches. Op is a masterpiece.

I loved the old anime but I'm loving this new one too. Seeing the interviews they also stated there'd be additional stories to the new one and they put in 5 years into making this new version. The CGI is really ruining it either and it's pretty well done.

I'm also loving it as well.
But at the same time I still have mix feelings with it comparing the OG series to the new one.

The new one just feels fresh for me and given they're adding new storylines it might as well be worth the watch. Still feel Vash is more depressing where his sadness didn't show til later in the original when they started going into detail of it. The new one showed it early but it's still missing lots of what happened or what Knives did on the ship. The original showed it however on the last half really.

It's nice to see positive comments like yours that share their joy about a story/anime that has something refreshing for both old and new audiences and fans. Haters will hate and complain that their standards are being ignored- but to be honest, writers NEVER really write to please everyone.

Going over this comment ya. I mean I won't say there isn't a lot of trash being produced but people always expect a negative review or create nonsense negative reviews even. There's definitely good reason to give criticism but only when there is an actual reason. Then there is also reason to give positive reviews to explain why something might be good.

I mean I'll completely state that there is way to many anime about gawking at little girls and teasing about dressing up girls with no plot. I mean obviously they're made because sex sells. On the contrary there are a few anime that really need to release there stories for sure as they're over a generation old. Like this was made back in 1998 originally. I seen it slightly later when it was advertised in everything. At the Comic Book Shop particularly. It might have been also advertised in Shonen Jump Magazines. I don't remember as it's nearly 20 years ago. LoL.Also I believe there is some people who will whine and go oh the old one yada yada to try to boost they watched the original regardless if they did or didn't. For some reason there ends up this nonsense elitism that is just that nonsense.

In terms though if you go on steam you'll find tons of games that get targeted in forums by trolls that try to create rioting through pushing bad reviews several being nonsense and incorrect and using alternative accounts as well to spur things up more.

Also ya I'm not lemming. I don't follow the crowd to make my review over something and enjoy the thinking process as well as i'd rather watch and talk about the content I enjoy. Honestly ya I think a good writer writes for themselves and enjoys what they're writing about. A story tends to become bad when it's forced then if it came out natural. I think we also toss the unique qualities when people become lemmings which also leads to cliche and repeated content. However this is just an old story that kind of just being revived for a new generation.

Beserk never finishes there anime but supposedly Berserk with the new one this year is getting completed by the creator's friend since the original creator died and his friend knew how the story was suppose to go. I honestly think that CGs come a long way though. Some are really good and some aren't these days whereas in the past every CG was terrible. I agree Trigun's CG does look pretty good. When the animation of it started off though it reminded me honestly of Titan A.E.

Ya from some of the people who did watch the past ones they stated that they never really concluded even the Golden Age arc previously which the current one did. They explained to me some of the events shown during announcing Grifith to becoming a demon lord was cut off and they showed more then people had initially seen previously. I heard the 2016 one was pretty bad but some also didn't like the new one. I only seen the new one so my perspective on it won't be as good but it didn't seem so bad but it also uses CG animation which even when CG was good you know people would always complain anyway so I can't tell you exactly how good it really is or not because reviews rather suck modernly but I enjoyed it. Though my perspective on Grifitih was that I don't sympathize for his character. He's always been about himself and the first notion someone said no to him he became self destructive. Don't really understand so much why people try to. lol.

Asides that most people commenting to praise an anime or talk about its cons are legit here. After all talking about the anime you're watching the comment section is the place to do it. Berserk came up because someone mentioned it which they probably did because the new one was heavy on CGI. I watched the original Trigun when I was in high school when it was extremely advertised everywhere so just one of the crowd that has seen the original. Mind you I'm not afraid to say when I think anime are bad and don't deserve a top 10. LoL. Some recently posted Crunchyrolls top 10 which various had no plot and were just fetishes off of looking at little girls do nothing but look cute and anime that just revolved around dressing up a girl to tease the audience without really any great plot to it. -_-. As for the statement about Berserk I've only watched the 2022 anime to say anything and chatted in the comment section. Some of the people mentioned it not going past like episode 10s plot in all the previous manga and anime adaptions in the last 30 years. In terms just read up some interviews over it wondering if they'd make another season given that it wasn't even being done by the original creator anymore when I was watching that episode and found that statement in interviews that it'd be finished.
